Prayers needed

Today's post is going to be about a few family members that are in need of your prayers.

My Nanny (grandma) - my dad's mom, has been diagnosed with lung cancer.  I am not sure what the outcome is going to be, but prayers are needed more for decreased pain and peace than for healing, I am afraid.  How we wish with all of our might that the Lord would heal her.  And he may.  But she is in God's hands now.

Mat's Grandma Pletcher - at 94 years old, she is the spunkiest person I know.  But she is wearing down.  She has had a few scares lately, and we are asking for your prayers for peace with her as well.

Mat's Uncle Bob Pletcher - he has been in the hospital for many months and is very sick.  We pray for his healing and that he comes home from the hospital well soon.  His status is day by day at this point, and we are hoping for some good news soon.

And please pray for our families as they deal with the potential loss of loved ones.  Even when someone's life has been long and good, it is hard to know that soon all we will be left with is memories.  We know that we will see them again someday.  That the family and friends that went before them will be at Heaven's gates waiting to welcome them home.
